The MESC Jr./Sr. High School Realignment project is intended to significantly improve the quality of education and the level of service to all MESC junior and senior high school students by amalgamating all MESC junior high students onto one school site and all MESC senior high students onto a separate school site.
The purpose of this realignment is to make substantial improvements in the following 4 areas:
- Maximize an economy of scale that would significantly impact course offered at both the junior and senior high school levels, as well as other elements of a comprehensive high school program.
- Improve equity of access and opportunity for MESC students and families.
- Maximize the potential of Maskwacîs and surrounding community partnerships that could have a positive impact not only on high school programming but the Nation as a whole.
- Promote unity and wahkohtowin within MESC and Maskwacîs.
MESC is seeking feedback from Ohpikinahawasiwin & Maskwacîsak on this project. You are invited to join a virtual presentation on Tuesday, December 7th at 6:00pm. You will be able to join the virtual presentation via Google Meet or watch on Facebook Live via the MESC Facebook Page.
