The Maskwacîs Education Schools Commission logo showcases the relationships between the four nations of Maskwacîs, and how we’ve come together in the spirit of Wâhkôhtowin (Relationships/Kinship) to create a school system for the benefit of the students.

The four tipis at the centre of the logo represent the Four Cree Nations (Ermineskin Cree Nation, Louis Bull Tribe, Montana First Nation, and Samson Cree Nation) of Maskwacîs. The Maskwa (Bear) behind the tipis symbolizes Maskwacîs (Bear Hills). The Cahkipehika (Plains Cree Syllabics) in the centre of the logo spell the Cree word “Maskwacîs”.
