This session will explore Nehiyaw language contexts as a pedagogical praxis. Understandings of ancient inherent knowledge processes and acquisition of knowledge will be explored to focus on pedagogical praxis and considerations in designing a nehiyaw teaching philosophy – nehiyawatisiwin. This session will look at what success means in a Nehiyaw context? What is learning? What is teaching? How does evaluation respectfully interplay in this context?
