Request for Proposals - Special Event Caterer

MESC is jointly owned and operated by Ermineskin Cree Nation, Louis Bull Tribe, Montana First Nation, Samson Cree Nation, and currently serves more than 2,200 students. We are proud to employ over 500 staff. 71% of our staff are  First Nations and that number is increasing each year.

With a renewed focus on Cree language and culture, MESC schools offer a strong balance between local Nehiyaw (Cree) core values according to the Maskwacis Declaration on Education and provincial academics as outlined in Alberta Education Programs of Study. 

Maskwacis Education Schools Commission (MESC) is accepting requests for proposals for special event catering.

 

Proposal submission must include and fulfill:

  1. Copies of Alberta Food Handling certificates
  2. History of past catering experience
  3. Sample Menu of Nutritious Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks. With Vegetarian and Gluten-Free options.
  4. Must be able to provide set up and delivery services within the Maskwacis area.
  5. References with phone number & email addresses

 

Closing date: Friday March 15, 2024 at 5:00 pm

 

Criteria for selection will be based on previous experience, ability to meet contractual requirements within a reasonable budget, and reference checks. Please submit proposals to:
