Cold Weather Safety and MESC
BUS ROUTE SUSPENSION & INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION: All bus routes will be suspended tomorrow, January 11th, 2024 due to inclement weather. MESC is responsible for ensuring that each of its students is provided with an education. The safety and well-being of our students is also a top priority. Therefore, schools shall remain open to students during the times and dates as per the school calendar.
Parents/guardians are not required to send their children to school if, in their judgment, weather or road conditions are detrimental to the safety or well-being of their children. If parents/guardians choose to drive their children to school when bus routes are suspended, they will be required to make the necessary arrangements for their children’s safe return home at the end of the school day.
While school bus routes may be suspended due to adverse road or weather conditions, the schools will remain open. It is expected that staff make reasonable efforts to report to work. Parents/guardians are encouraged to check the Bus Status app on our website for updates on bus routes. Bus Status is regularly updated each day at 7:00am and 2:00pm.
